The official launch of the breathtaking high-end residential and commercial development “Limassol Del Mar” took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol on the 28th of February 2017, hosted by D.Zavos Group and Leptos Estates.
Minister of Finance, Mr Harris Georgiades addressed Members of Parliament and ambassadors of the financial and business world. Mr Harris Georgiades, led his address with inspirational words on how the economy of Cyprus is stable and improving. He congratulated Mr Zavos and Mr Leptos on a job well done as it was the strength of these productive sectors of the Cyprus economy that kept us standing. He also added that projects of the caliber of Limassol Del Mar have brought back trust and strength into its hosting city and the overall property market of Cyprus.
The leaders of the joint-venture project, Mr Zavos and Mr Leptos, obviously satisfied and proud of the project they are developing, took centre stage and described the Limassol Del Mar project through their personal unique business prism.
Mr Zavos declared that Limassol Del Mar is a landmark project and it aims to put Cyprus on the international map of most remarkable and majestic projects worldwide. “With Limassol Del Mar, we, the Cypriot business people, can now stand on equal footing as global creators of grandiose projects.”
“We feel that we have an obligation to act for the benefit of the Cypriot society and therefore,” Mr Zavos highlighted, “Limassol Del Mar, because of the magnitude of the project, it will create hundreds of jobs and will bring in millions of Euro from abroad which will contribute to the country’s funds, through taxes and various other contributions.
In turn, Mr Leptos spoke about the project, focusing on the fact that “Limassol Del Mar is a completely private investment with 2 Cypriot companies at its core, proving that entrepreneurship is in the Cypriot’s DNA,” said Mr Leptos humorously.
Mr Leptos referred to the buying interest derived by the project from, predominantly, international investors but emphasized that there is interest from the local Cypriot business community too. Also, he explained, the presales percentage of Phase 1 has already reached 60%. This is a substantial “income injection” of liquidity for the Cypriot economy and property development industry. It provides them with the possibility of financing the construction of the entire project, creating hundreds of job openings sooner rather than later.
Mr Leptos concluded with, “2016 was a benchmark for the Cypriot economy. It regained its international credibility as confirmed by International Rating Agencies. Our island has managed to get into the Quantitative Easing Program announced by the European Central Bank and the economy today has one of the highest development results in Europe.”
The event was presented and coordinated by the News Anchor Ms Stella Stylianou. Limassol Del Mar’s Marketing Executive Ms. Eleftheria Voskaridou briefly welcomed the guests by thanking them on behalf of the project’s overall team. Ms Voskaridou mentioned that the project’s two-fold promotional strategy was and is to promote Cyprus as a perfect investment destination whereas Limassol Del Mar is a perfect destination for a successful investment.
