ACCOUNTANT VACANCY

ACCOUNTANT VACANCY D.ZAVOS GROUP, one of the leading land and building Developers in Cyprus, based in Limassol, is now seeking to employ an Accountant. Responsibilities
  • Posting of accounting records, issuance of invoices, accounting data entry and VAT preparation;
  • Calculation of common expenses for our under-management properties;
  • Reconciliation of accounts (Banks, Customers, Suppliers);
  • Agree Inter-company balances;
  • Carry out any other tasks in line with the accounting duties;
  • Report to the company’s financial controller
Key personal attributes
  • Strong analytical and problem solving;

Requirements
  • LCCI Higher, CAT qualification, or equivalent;
  • Working experience 3-6 years in a similar position;

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

D.ZAVOS GROUP, one of the leading land and building Developers in Cyprus, based in Limassol, is now seeking to employ a Senior Accountant.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounting affairs of a number of companies under the group
  • Liaising with auditors for the prompt preparation and submission of the annual financial statements and tax returns
  • Prepare management accounts in accordance with IFRSs
  • Liaising with the banks and maintaining good relationships
  • Carry out any other tasks in line with the accounting duties
  • Report to the company’s group financial controller

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field
  • Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA) will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Accounting Software, etc.)
  • Experience with the Cyprus direct and indirect taxes
  • Min 4-5 years of accounting and/or auditing experience (experience in the Construction and Real Estate industry will be considered as a strong advantage)
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Strong organizational skills

PROPERTY-CORPORATE LAWYER

D. Zavos Group is seeking to recruit a Property Immigration & Corporate Lawyer for their Limassol Head Office. The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis as part of the team handling matters within the area of expertise of the Property / Immigration and Corporate department. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of the Legal Department.

Qualifications/Skills

  • University degree in Law with a minimum grade of 2.1 from a British University or equivalent
  • M (Master of Laws), especially in Corporate or Legal Practice Course (LPC) will be considered an advantage
  • At least 3-5 years previous in-house or law firm experience
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
  • Excellent knowledge and ability to understand contents of property & immigration material (procedures, applications, legal framework)
  • Experience in drafting real estate agreements (both tenancy agreements and contracts of sale)
  • Experience in naturalization and Permanent Residency procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek & English language
  • Compliance and regulatory experience-considered as an advantage
  • Strong personality & managerial skills (managing and coordination of projects)
  • Computer literate (MS Office applications, word, excel, outlook, etc.)
  • Fluent in Greek and English, both written and verbal is a must
  • Responsible, attentive to details, accurate, positive and supportive
  • Understanding of confidentiality rules and non-disclosure policies
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to take initiatives, work under minimum direction and take responsibility for own actions

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Legal assistance in property and/or immigration projects
  • Managing the group’s corporate secretary work, i.e. opening files, organizing meetings, email management and drafting correspondence
  • Performing as a legal and corporate focal point in commercial negotiations with the company’s current and prospective customers
  • Drafting commercial contracts, sale and purchasing agreements, etc
  • Preparing, executing, processing and/or reviewing legal documents (Contracts of sale, tenancy agreements, applications, etc.)
  • Performing legal research
  • Meetings with clients
  • Opening of Bank accounts in Cyprus
  • Handling all aspects of Cyprus Immigration applications-PR schemes
  • Consultation of corporate and immigration clients, maintaining client relations, attending meetings
  • Formation of Companies/ open bank account
  • Providing legal advice and assistance on legal matters related to property & immigration fields
  • Assist with educating employees with respect to compliance and legal and regulatory requirements, contracting process and various other areas of responsibilities
  • Being able to complete the assigned tasks and revert within the assigned deadline
